Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

1. Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of the judgeit.app website and, where applicable, the JudgeIT judging system provided by ATSL Services, LLC. By using the site or service, you agree to these terms. Use of the JudgeIT application by a client organisation is additionally governed by the separate written agreement between that organisation and ATSL, which prevails in the event of any conflict.

2. The service

JudgeIT is a software-as-a-service platform for administering competition judging. We provide it on a subscription or licence basis to client organisations, host it, and maintain it. Features may evolve over time as we improve the product.

3. Accounts & access

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service. Prohibited activities are described in our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms. We may suspend access where use threatens the security, integrity, or availability of the service.

5. Intellectual property

JudgeIT, including its software, design, and the JudgeIT name and marks, is the property of ATSL Services, LLC and is protected by law. We grant clients a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for the duration of their agreement. Competition data and content entered by a client remain the property of that client.

6. Client data

We process client data to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy and Data Protection page. Clients are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the data they enter and for obtaining any necessary permissions from the individuals it concerns.

7. Availability

We work to keep JudgeIT available and reliable, with backups and maintenance, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance and service levels, where applicable, are set out in the client agreement.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Except as expressly stated in a client agreement, the website and service are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or meet every requirement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ATSL Services, LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the website or service. Liability under a client agreement is limited as set out in that agreement.

10. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or the client agreement. On termination, clients may request export of their data as provided in their agreement.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction stated in the applicable client agreement. Where no agreement specifies otherwise, the governing law is that of the jurisdiction in which ATSL Services, LLC is organised.

12. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be indicated by the “last updated” date. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance.
