This Privacy Policy explains how ATSL Services, LLC (“ATSL”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal information in connection with the JudgeIT judging system and the website at judgeit.app. We are committed to handling information responsibly and transparently.
This policy covers three groups: website visitors who browse judgeit.app or request a demo; client organisations who license JudgeIT; and system users (administrators, judges, auditors, and contestants) whose information is processed within a client's JudgeIT instance.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, and we ask that clients do not enter it into the system.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use competition data for advertising.
For website and demo-request information, ATSL acts as the data controller. For information held inside a client's JudgeIT instance, the client organisation is the controller and ATSL acts as a processor, handling that data only on the client's instructions and to operate the service.
We share information only as needed to run the service: with infrastructure and email providers who help us host and operate JudgeIT, and where required by law. Any provider we use is expected to protect the information to a standard consistent with this policy. Each client's data is kept isolated from other clients.
Demo-request information is retained for as long as needed to follow up and for our legitimate business records. Competition data is retained for the duration of the client's engagement and handled per our agreement with them; clients may request export or deletion of their data.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. For website and demo data, contact us directly. For data held inside a client's instance, please contact that organisation, as they control it; we will assist them in responding.
We protect information using encryption in transit (HTTPS), role-based access controls, per-organisation data isolation, and daily backups. See our Data Protection page for more detail. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard information appropriately.
The judgeit.app marketing site uses only what is necessary to function and does not run third-party advertising trackers. The JudgeIT application uses a secure session token to keep users signed in. We do not use cookies to track you across other websites.
JudgeIT is intended for use by organisations and their appointed officials. Where a competition involves minors as contestants, only the limited information needed to administer the competition (such as a name and entry) should be entered, by the responsible organisation.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above. Continued use of the site or service after changes indicates acceptance.
